Sol&Luna began its journey in 2003, when they bought a farm in Paraguay and discovered the possibilities of leather craftsmanship, deeply rooted in the area. This is how the idea of using wood and leather work arose as part of a sustainable development program.
In 2017 the firm wanted to make a commitment to traditional and quality Spanish craftsmanship, introducing the brand "Home In Order" dedicated to organizational accessories that go beyond the merely functional. "I would like Sol&luna to become a global reference for contemporary craftsmanship. At present, 80% of our sales come from outside Spain and our customers are very appreciative of our craftsmanship," asserts Sánchez de Movellán.

Part of the formula for success, says Sánchez, is that "today's women are hardworking, creative, and daring. Passion gives us the wings to carve out an important niche for ourselves in this sector, and we also have the added bonus of supporting each other.
Although "traditionally women have always had to face greater obstacles, nowadays, enthusiasm and a job well done allow us to demonstrate that there is another way of seeing the world, making a bigger and bigger niche for us in this sector. We bring a different perspective on the home furnishings industry. We are rigorous and sensitive, and we create excitement. Moreover, we are not prejudiced, are more daring ,and don't care what people think."
She has never encountered "any problems in reconciling work and family life. I have involved my family by making them part of my work, and we are all part of the Sol&luna universe," its CEO states. In addition, in her leadership position, she believes that "women are more sensitive when it comes to our employees balancing their lives."
