This year, the Dsignio and Yonoh design studios created three collections of ceramic products for the Signature line of Harmony, the design and avant-garde brand of the Peronda Group. Interior design studios collaborate in the development of the designs of the Signature line, contributing their creativity transformed into innovative and attractive products.
Dsignio has created the CASTELLO and MARE collections. CASTELLO is the first ceramic screen that the studio has designed for Harmony and is inspired by the defensive windows of medieval castles. The opening of the piece is offset from the center and its axis, which allows it to have eight placement positions. In this way, large surfaces can be created without any visible repetition. The result is an interesting play of shots at different angles that acquire different tones with the lights and shadows. The play continues with the direct light coming through the windows and projecting to the other side of the lattice, forming multiple random rectangles of light. MARE is inspired by the fabrics of the Mediterranean: wicker, straw, cane, heather, esparto grass, and more. These natural fibers have traditionally been used to create a wide variety of objects. Based on the essence of these fabrics, Dsignio wanted to convey their warmth, love for craftsmanship, and naturalness to other contexts. The series consists of three ceramic pieces: one with volume, one without volume, and a third transitional piece. This enables infinite creations that are different from each other.
For its part, the Yonoh studio created the VAHO ceramic tile collection, which shows us the more youthful side of its authors. In a 20x40 format, this collection plays with matte and gloss finishes presenting a pattern that simulates the condensation of water vapor. A subtle and light design that combines more pronounced textures, achieved with the application of our LAYER TECH technology. The series is available in 5 shades: white, sand, clay, blue, and green.
