Nine young designers, publishers, and design studios, along with eleven design schools, are featured in this year’s edition of Salón Nude, taking place from September 30 to October 3 as part of Feria Hábitat Valencia. Now in its twentieth edition, this event has become the premier showcase for creativity and design in Spain’s habitat sector. A professional jury selected the 20 participants, noting the “high quality of the designs and innovation in materials—some transforming waste into valuable resources—as well as self-production capabilities, the use of new technologies, and the application of artisanal techniques.”
The designers, publishers, and design studios selected for this year’s event are: Creavalo (Ontinyent, Valencia), Studio Petit Muller (Paris – Bilbao), Diego López Períago (Totana, Murcia), Apotheke Estudio (Pamplona), María Abando Olaran (Palma de Mallorca), Serilda Fustería (Valencia), Iterare Architects (Valencia), Tres de Copas (Argentina), and Aurora Bonet (Valencia). Salón Nude 2024 will also showcase eleven design schools—ten from Spain and one from Mexico.
A professional jury, comprising three prominent figures in the design field and coordinated by María Fontes, the founder and curator of Salón Nude, selected this year’s participants. This year’s jury members are: Pepa Casado, founding partner of Futurea and trends researcher; Enric Pastor, design and interior design journalist, and director of MANERA Magazine; Javier Pastor, trends researcher and design educator. Additionally, FINSA will once again support the event by providing panels for the construction of both the Salón Nude stands and the Ágora Nude conference area.
Feria Valencia will host a joint event from September 30 to October 3, featuring three major Spanish fairs focused on furniture, lighting, decor, home textiles, and kitchen equipment: Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium, and Espacio Cocina SICI. This year, the event will cover over 90,000 square meters of exhibition space with 426 exhibitors representing 699 brands. It is anticipated to attract more than 48,000 professional visitors from 70 countries.
