Designer furniture firm Stua presents one of its latest projects in the Netherlands. The transformation of a former Renault garage, located near Amsterdam’s Amstel Station, into the Dauphine Café-Restaurant. A venue which, in addition to serving meals, also becomes a space for live music and other events organised by Het Financieele Dagblad, Club Dauphine.
Designed by the Sheryl Leysner architecture and interior design studio, the interior has been renovated to create an intimate atmosphere, with soft lighting and a variety of textures that evoke a sense of relaxation. The star of the space is the Stua Globus chair, which brings a natural touch to the venue with its walnut wood and renowned comfort.
Globus is a fresh, lightweight chair. Thanks to the curved shape of its backrest, it provides enveloping comfort. Its original silhouette makes the Globus chair an icon for the brand. Created by Jesús Gasca, this piece features a structure that seamlessly interlocks with the seat and backrest, creating shapes that look impeccably finished from every angle.
