Presentation in Madrid of Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar and València Design Fest 2026.
This fall, the city of València will once again become one of the leading international hubs for design, architecture, innovation, and the creative industries.
For more than a month, we will enjoy a new edition of València Design Fest, an event featuring exhibitions, professional gatherings, conferences, installations, urban tours, workshops, activities open to the public, and other initiatives that will bring together companies, professionals, institutions, students, and the wider community around design as a driver of economic, social, and cultural transformation. One of the highlights will be Feria Hábitat València, which will be held from September 28 to October 1.
Feria Hábitat València, an International Benchmark for the Hábitat Sector
This international trade fair will bring together a comprehensive offering for the habitat sector featuring Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI, 360 by Cevisama, and the Salón nude exhibition for emerging talent. All of this falls under the shared initiative “València Inspira Diseño”, one of Europe’s largest events focused on design, interior design, architecture, furnishings, and materials.
Innovation, design, internationalization, and the strengthening of Spain’s business sector will be the main pillars of this fair, which will feature internationally renowned design firms presenting their latest furniture and lighting collections. In total, more than 1,200 exhibiting firms and brands will participate at Feria Hábitat València.
Alongside these offerings, the fair will also devote special attention to the evolution of materials used in interior design and architecture, with a dedicated exhibition showing how elements such as wood, stone, clay, concrete, and metal are being reinvented to meet the sector’s current needs. In addition, professionals should not miss the Hotel Hábitat 2026 installation by renowned Mexican architect Joaquín Homs.
València Design Fest Expands Its Program
The new edition of València Design Fest, presented by the Fundació del Disseny de la Comunitat Valenciana, will take place from September 11 to October 15. It includes a packed schedule of exhibitions, conferences, installations, international gatherings, workshops, participatory activities, and projects throughout the city, all of which connect design, culture, innovation, and the public.
Among the featured projects is a new edition of “Tiempo + Materia,” dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship and design, as well as an expanded program centered on architecture. Another highlight is the “La Ciudad Generosa” event, featuring a special live recording of the podcast ‘Alzados y Caídos’, hosted by communications professional and architect Marta Soler, together with Rafa Rivera, Álvaro Saval, and other guests to be confirmed.
Design will also continue to be promoted as a tool for innovation, with particular attention on sustainability, emerging talent, intergenerational exchange, and international dialog. Its program will feature the participation of national and international studios, designers, and professionals, including Estudio Savage, Mudat Estudio, Nieves Contreras, Yasmina Benabdelkrim, Berry Dijkstra, Marisa Santamaría, Reyes Pe, Kike Correcher, Nuria Matarredona, Hanna Harris, and Felix Kosok. This year’s edition will also feature Poland as the guest country.
València Design Fest will also organize children’s workshops on typography and urban planning, a film and design series in collaboration with La Filmoteca, a new edition of “Confesiones del Diseño”, and the “Art&Design Walks” routes. The 6th edition of “Night at the Museum” will also be held at the Museu de Belles Arts de València, with the participation of LZF Lamps, GandiaBlasco, and Greenarea. These initiatives will be joined by a collaboration with the School of Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Abierto València program, and a new edition of “Future of Fashion”.
Design as a Meeting Point
Feria Hábitat València and València Design Fest offer a program that connects industry, creativity, innovation, and culture. While Feria Hábitat València brings together leading professional offerings in furniture, lighting, home textiles, equipment, and materials, València Design Fest expands this program with exhibitions, gatherings, and activities in different spaces across the city.
