In November, we will travel alongside sixty Spanish companies to the United States, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Japan.
Our first stop is the USA,, where we are organizing a Spain Pavilion at the BDNY (Boutique Design New York) trade fair on November 8–9, with 25 Spanish brands showcasing furniture, lighting, rugs, and ceramic floor and wall coverings. This event, organized by Boutique Design magazine at the Javits Center, is one of the most influential showcases for hotel design in the USA, and Spain is among the countries with the largest number of exhibiting companies, behind the USA, Italy, and Canada. In addition, on Friday the 7th, we will host a business breakfast at our Economic and Commercial Office in New York, bringing together members of the Emerald Expo media group, a select group of North American industry influencers, and representatives of the Spanish companies participating in the trade show. At the fair on Sunday, November 8, we will offer cava and Spanish cheese to visitors who stop by the ICEX-Interiors from Spain booth -1931.
Next, on November 11, we will host a sustainability event in Boston, featuring 6 companies from the furniture, lighting, rug, and bathroom sectors. This is the fourth consecutive year we have held this event, following the success of previous editions in Dallas (2023), San Francisco (2024), and Atlanta (2025). The event will consist of an interactive workshop, coordinated by the U.S. magazine Metropolis, that will connect Spanish companies with local architects and designers who are interested in our range of sustainable products.
On the Arabian Peninsula, for the third consecutive year, we will invite architecture and interior design firms that are transforming the country to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on November 9 to discover the design solutions offered by the eight Spanish companies participating in this event, called “Design Dialogues”. A few days later, on November 12 in Dubai, we will hold “Fiesta & Design” for the fourth consecutive year, a networking event bringing together 10 Spanish companies in the habitat sector and leading architects, interior designers, and dealers from UAE around a culinary event at a prestigious Spanish restaurant in Dubai.
We will conclude our journey through Asia in Japan with a new exhibition, taking place on November 25–27 at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. Curated by Japanese architect Shiji Takagi, the exhibition will showcase design pieces from 10 Spanish companies in the interiors sector. Held since 2014, this event will feature something new this year: a visit by Japanese media on the first day and by students on the last. There will also be a series of talks and conversations between Spanish designer Antonio Arola and the curator, concluding with a networking cocktail reception in the exhibition space. Around 140 people are expected to attend each seminar.
