Nestled in the serene Bavarian Prealps, Bergeblick Hotel epitomizes the perfect blend of modern luxury and sustainability. Designed by Beham Architekten, the hotel's architecture prioritizes using natural materials like wood, honoring the region's traditional construction style and its deep connection to nature. This environmental approach is beautifully complemented by the choice of lamps from the Spanish firm LZF. Their organic designs, crafted from natural wood veneers, enhance the hotel's commitment to sustainability and aesthetic harmony.   


The hotel's architectural vision emphasizes understated design, intentionally blurring the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces to create a seamless connection with the surrounding landscape. "We wanted a hotel for the future, not limited to a specific era, that would blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings," explained the hotel spokesperson.


LZF's lighting fixtures with organic designs and natural wood veneer greatly enhance the interior ambiance, perfectly aligning with the hotel's aesthetic and sustainability goals. These luminaires come from well-managed FSC® certified forests, integrating an environmentally-friendly approach with energy-efficient technologies." Their natural materials align perfectly with our vision, offering understated designs that enrich our spaces without overpowering them," said the hotel's interior designer, Katharina Kamm.


For the lobby and the hotel rooms, a range of lighting was chosen, including RAINDROP, pendant luminaires reminiscent of raindrops, created by the Javier Herrero studio, the intricately sculpted SWIRL suspension lamps and the elegant LINK floor lamps reminiscent of clouds, both designed by Ray Power, and the AGATHA pendant luminaires designed by Luis Eslava, inspired by the peculiar wavy hairstyle of the renowned English writer Agatha Christie. All these pieces disrupt the clean lines of the rooms throughout the hotel, including beauty salons, dressing rooms, and massage tables, providing guests with a natural and inviting aesthetic that captivates with its visual charm.
