Coinciding with the “Designart Tokyo 2024” design and art festival, the Japanese city came alive from October 17 to November 4, filled with Spanish brands showcasing and celebrating their creations.


Oliver Corporation, one of Japan's largest furniture manufacturers, hosted an exhibition and seminar at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. At the "Oliver Exhibition" on the 17th, products from brands like Andreu World, Gan, Bõln, Sellex, Resol, Agora, Aquaclean, and Graphenstone were showcased, along with Oliver chairs and sofas upholstered in Spanish fabrics.  Later, at the "Offitality" seminar on the 18th, Spanish designer Cutu Mazuelos of Stone Designs shared his ideas and philosophies on office design. The event wrapped up with a cocktail reception to encourage networking and introduce Spanish products to the Japanese audience. The exhibition saw a strong turnout, with attendance from leading Japanese professionals in the interior design and architecture sectors.


Meanwhile, from October 18 to November 4, Cosentino, the Spanish brand known for its surfaces in construction and interior design, hosted an interior design exhibition titled "In & Out Design for Life" at its Tokyo showroom as part of "Designart Tokyo." The exhibition aimed to surprise visitors with products that would bring a touch of Spanish ambiance and color to Tokyo life.  On the evening of October 17, Natalia Sanz Laviña and Takeshi Yamamura of YSLA Architects unveiled a stunning indoor and outdoor space they had designed using Cosentino products such as Dekton and Silestone, along with furniture by Alexandra and iSiMAR and lamps and sculptures by Lladró.
