We present 10 designs by 10 Spanish studios and designers, all unveiled this year by ten Spanish furniture brands.
We begin with the versatile SURICATA desk, designed by Inma Bermúdez Studio for Sancal. Inspired by the charming and playful mammal that lends the collection its name, this designer piece captures its energy and dynamism to create a robust, stable, and versatile product. It transcends the classroom environment and is also suitable for hospitality projects.
An example of solidarity design can be found in the VALENCIA STOOL, created by Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World. Proceeds from its sales go toward rebuilding areas affected by last year’s floods in Valencia, the company’s home region. Manufactured through 3D printing from organic, biodegradable, and compostable materials, it demonstrates a true commitment to responsible design.
Yonoh has also embraced sustainable design with the VAIREA chair for Musola, combining 100% recycled polypropylene with a stainless-steel frame and flowing lines inspired by the human silhouette.
Meanwhile, ERRE celebrates both functionality and elegance with ESPAGUETTI, a chair crafted with the delicate fluidity of a single pencil stroke, designed for Gandía Blasco.
Eugeni Quitllet brings the energy of a New York avenue to life with MADISON, a chair for Vondom, while Lagranja Design has designed the SLIDE collection of armchairs and chairs for Vergés.
Among other types of seating, the SEU bench by Antoni Pallejà Office for RS Barcelona stands out, drawing inspiration from classic sports court benches. Also noteworthy are the benches in the TAM collection, designed by Nahtrang for Ondarreta.
Turning to planters, iSiMAR presents its RIVIERA collection by Ilmio Design, whose elegant curves evoke the movement of the sea. Soraya Pla, meanwhile, has created the VERISSIMO collection for Systemtronic.
