B.lux’s Lainoa light scoops a prize in China

Its sustainability, adaptibility and eco design were key reasons why it won China’s Successful Design Award 2013.

The Lainoa light, designed this year by the studio Ideilan for the company B.lux, has scooped the Successful Design Awards China prize.

The main features of this light, for both indoor and outdoor use, are its sustainability, adaptability and eco design. Its manufacture uses the minimum amount of elements, is easy to assemble and disassemble and its materials and components can be recycled and reused. What’s more, the light can be easily maintained, is suitable for use in many environments and is safe to install.

Since they were set up in 2006, China’s Successful Design Awards have recognised innovation and the crucial role design plays in all areas of everyday life. The awards also place a high value on international designers and companies that submit innovative ideas with the potential to have a positive impact on the Chinese market.
