The family is completed, thanks to the addition of various wooden tables.
Spanish contemporary furniture company Enea has unveiled its latest addition to its Lottus Wood family of furniture – a range of wood tables.
In 2012, Enea, which specialises in seating and tables for both domestic and public spaces, began adding pieces made of wood to its Lottus line, which is designed by Lievore Altherr Molina, thereby augmenting the collection’s range of finishes. In the same year, it launched a chair with a polypropylene and wooden frame. Then, in early 2013, came the Lottus Wood stool. Now the range also includes a set of tables that complete the collection. The latter are made of birch ply, which gives the furniture character, warmth and charm. The tables come in various sizes from 80cm by 80cm to 2m by 1m, making them suitable for a wider range of uses and types of room.
Enea was established in 1984 with the aim of making innovative, contemporary furniture that can also be custom-built – and which has the potential to be used in any type of space. The pieces in the versatile Lottus range can be admired in many public spaces, such as the Adriano Zumbo patisserie in Sydney, the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián and Centre Hospitalier de Cannes. Enea’s aim with this new wood finish – which gives the range a light, natural look and a more informal style – is to make the Lottus Wood collection suitable for a broader spectrum of rooms and public spaces.
