Faces and Minim — a fusion of design and nature

Two new bathroom collections, designed by Ramón Esteve for the company L´Antic Colonial.

Design studio Ramón Esteve and company L’Antic Colonial unveiled two new bathroom collections — Faces and Minim — at the Italian bathroom fittings and tile fair Cersaie last September. What’s more, Ramón Esteve designed the stand which showcased these products.

Faces comprises four bathroom elements all featuring intersecting planes forming several facets. Faces — available in four stone finishes and three natural wood ones — comprises a free-standing washbasin, counter-top washbasin, wall-mounted basin incorporating a towel rail and storage unit with a faceted surface. The Minim collection, for its part, is pared-down and clean-lined. It consists of a storage unit which incorporates a washbasin and counter top. It can form different configurations suited to a variety of interiors, depending on the users’ needs. One of its stand-out features is its monolithic, wall-mounted or free-standing form in stone.

 
Ramón Esteve is one of Spain’s most internationally renowned architects and designers. This multidisciplinary studio has contributed to many architecture and interior design projects in Spain, China and other countries, and has designed products for such firms as Vondom, Gandia Blasco, Andreu World, Vibia, Inclass and Joquer.

 
L’Antic Colonial, which is part of the Porcelanosa group, manufactures high quality, exclusive products using natural materials. It uses clay, slate, marble, natural wood and mosaic which, combined with its products — washbasins, counter-tops and bathroom fittings — allow for the creation of complete product ranges which stand out for their extremely high quality.
