Round Glass – a new B.Lux product

Made of two layers of Murano glass, the spherical Round Glass, which has been designed by Marco Bisenzi, is a pendant light incorporating LEDs. It represents an evolved version of another B.Lux design, Light is aRound, created by the same designer last year. The new design’s glass surface is aglow with little textured, highly decorative spots of light cast by the 42 LEDs encased in this glamorous globe. These subtle spots of light recall a flower’s internal pistils.

The LEDs can be easily placed inside the lamp’s shade thanks to the creation of a new internal structure which unfurls like an umbrella, and allows the 42 LEDs to be inserted into it when the light is installed.

It’s these LEDs which transform Round Glass into a luminous glass sphere with a fresh look. ‘The idea behind the Round collection is to introduce LED light sources into decorative lighting, and to focus on discovering their potential for developing new visual languages which can be adapted to all types of projects,’ stresses Bisenzi.
