A light like juggling balls, created by designer Jordi Vilardell.
Lighting firm Vibia recently unveiled its Puck Wall Art wall light, dreamt up by designer Jordi Vilardell, who has previously worked with the company on lighting projects.
Puck Wall Art comprises several spheres to create an effect that is warm, visually sharp and mathematically creative. There are two sizes of spheres, allowing the user to play with creating varied combinations of indirect light. The resulting design comprises a set of highly dynamic, sculptural compositions, whose shapes emit a cosy light, without casting heavy shadows or a harsh glare.
Using an interactive, online tool called Crea, which invites you to configure your own shapes – found on the www.vibia.com website – the user has the freedom to create – and customise – his or her preferred composition, thanks to the two sizes of light that can be made to overlap, hung in a vertical line, grouped together or spread apart. In whichever formation, they form rhythmic patterns. Thanks to its clever design, the light can be configured in various ways using only one electrical connection, making it easy, too, to fit to the wall. Organic-looking and ethereal, Puck Wall Light is the perfect lighting solution for domestic and public spaces. It comes in three lacquered finishes: matt white, dark brown or orange.
