…By launching its Kes and Pezzetina collections and Rosinante rocking horse.
Spanish company Vondom, a leading outdoor furniture brand, has wowed us once again with its creativity by kicking off the new year with several innovative ideas for outdoor spaces.
One of the most notable is Kes — a modular seating system for outdoor use, designed by Italian studio Buratti & Battiston. The main hallmark of this collection, which comprises sofas, chaise longues and pouffes, is its pared-down form to which can be added such supplementary elements as backrests, armrests and tables, making it at once architectural, decorative and functional.
Two other new ideas by Vondom are its Pezzetina collection of planters, chair and table, inspired by nature and designed by Archirivolto Design, and Rosinante rocking horse, inspired by Don Quixote’s horse and designed by veteran Finnish designer Eero Arnio, who has previously collaborated with the Spanish firm, creating its Roulette swivel chair and Peacock planter. What’s more, Vondom has launched new pieces for its Blow flowerpot collection designed by Stefano Giovannoni and a new stool and tall table which augment its Vases collection created by Valencia-based designer José Manuel Ferrero.
Finally, designer Ramón Esteve has dreamt up the Camo outdoor rug, Daybed double beds with a moveable headboard for the Vela collection as well as new pieces for the Faz collection, namely tables and chairs in different sizes.
Vondom’s collections bear the stamp of the globally renowned designers it collaborates with, which has resulted in it winning prestigious, international prizes, a recent one being for its Sloo chair, designed by Karim Rashid, which won a Good Design award last year.
