Spanish firm Compac has kitted out its Valencia HQ with several collections by contemporary furniture company Viccarbe.
Its interiors now feature Viccarbe’s Colubi sofa and armchairs, designed by RTdesign and inspired by iconic Bauhaus pieces, the upholstered Maarten swivel chair with a powder-coated tubular-steel frame, the Klip chair and sculptural Serra tables, both created by Victor Carrasco, the comfortable, lightweight Ace armchair, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, the Last Minute stool, dreamt up by Patricia Urquiola, and Piero Lissoni’s Season Mini pouffes. It’s a wide-ranging collection of pieces which employees and visitors to the company alike are now able to enjoy.
Viccarbe’s furniture graces many public spaces all over the world, from luxury hotels such as the TesoroBlu Hotel Spa in Greece, Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago and Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York; universities such as the Tokyo University of Sciences; the offices of such bluechip companies as Microsoft in Finland, Google in Mexico, Coca-Cola in Toronto, Adobe in San José, California and the Empire State Building in New York. The Spanish company exports over 85 per cent of its annual turnover to over 70 countries — proof of its international success.
Compac is a leading Spanish manufacturer of high-quality, decorative surfaces. Founded in 1975, Compac was the first Spanish company to specialise in the manufacture and distribution of marble and quartz surfaces. Without having lost touch with its roots, Compac today is a multinational company with stores in Spain, Portugal, the UK and US, and a network of over 250 distributors all over the world.
