Spanish furniture and upholstery maker Beltá & Frajumar has just presented this year’s latest chairs and tables. The company has two brands: Beltá and Frajumar. Beltá’s modern, up-to-the-minute style stems from its commitment to design and innovation, while Frajumar goes for a timeless classic look with elegant, characterful pieces. Modern-style Spanish furniture and upholstery maker Beltá & Frajumar has just presented this year’s latest chairs and tables.
New products by Beltá include Lily armchairs, created by studio Dsignio, armchair Tamo and Domo coffee tables, designed by Vicente Gallega, as well as an extension to the Luka collection, created by Jorge Pensi with two tables, and add-ons to its Even collection, designed by Robert Ortega, including a chair and two-piece sofa. Lily came about from the need to find a comfortable armchair with a strong personality that would fit into smaller spaces. The result is a comfortable, high-backed chair with rounded lines and another lower seat comprising two volumes in variable colours that create interesting optical illusions. Tamo includes an easy-going seat with wooden armrests and soft textiles to break away from the rigidity of its metal structure, filling spaces with warmth and comfort. Finally, Domo is a series of tables in two different versions, one with a moulded natural stone top and the other topped in solid wood.
This year’s seating options from Frajumar include sofa Kota and armchair Erto. Tables include the Hera, Igno and Laya collections, all made by the company’s own design team.
