Spain Exhibits Again at Design Shanghai

The latest design proposals of four Spanish manufacturers of home textiles, lighting, furniture, porcelain figurines and indoor wall clocks will be showcased at Design Shanghai 2021, which will run from June 3 to 6 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. One of the most renowned international design events in Asia, the Design Shanghai fair is of the few in the whole world that can be visited in person this year.
 
Spanish companies, for the third time on the run, participate in an Official Pavilion under our brand "Interiors from Spain". Here you´ll be able to enjoy the breathtaking creativity and high quality of the design pieces of Lladró, Gan, Nomon and Agora.

Lladró is a brand known worldwide for its artistic pieces and porcelain lamps, which are sold in more than 120 countries. Gan' s rugs and furniture accessories are handmade and its beautiful collections feature collaborations with renowned designers such as Patricia Urquiola and the well-known Shanghai-based Chinese design studio Neri & Hu.

Agora and Nomon were already involved in the last edition of this fair. Agora's outdoor fabrics stand out for their quality and impressive properties, which make them waterproof and resistant to ultraviolet light. Their products have become a success in the services sector, being the preferred indoor and outdoor textiles for hotels, restaurants and homes in the current pandemic situation, as they can be disinfected with bleaching agents. And Nomon distinguishes itself by breaking away from the everyday image of wall clocks: its groundbreaking works in brass, walnut, oak and other materials makes each of the company's wall clocks unique.

The design pieces on display at the Spanish stand are eye catching for their use of sustainable, environmentally friendly materials which explore the needs of a joint development between East and West. This fair will also give new visibility to the Collaboration Agreement between ICEX and Valencia World Design Capital (VWDC) 2022. This agreement wishes to promote the powerful synergies existing between ICEX and the VWDC 2022 in order to spread Spanish design internationally. VWDC will be present at ICEX's institutional booth to publicize the project in China.
