Spain at Milan Design Week 2023

Spain is once again participating in Milan Design Week, which is being held in the capital of Lombardy from April 17 to 23 with a busy schedule of events, including the presence of 61 Spanish companies at the "Milan Furniture Fair"(Milan Furniture Fair) and at "Euroluce" and the Fuori Salone.

Thirty-six Spanish companies are participating in the Milan Furniture Fair, and twenty-five in Euroluce, Spain being the country with the second highest number of firms present in the various spaces within the fair, behind only Italy.

At Fuori Salone, the events organized by Spanish companies and designers include an interesting talk on sustainability on 10 April at 11.30 am at Palazzo Bovara, promoted by ICEX-Interiors from Spain. Spanish designers Inma Bermudez, Andreu Carulla and Jorge Herrera will be speaking at the event, which will be moderated by Livia Peraldo of Elle Decor Italia. From 17 to 26 April, there will be two installations on display at the La Statale university. In the first, entitled "Seating experiments with Spanish tiles", promoted by Tile of Spain, and designed by Tomás Alonso, you will find ceramic pieces from 16 tile companies. The second "Nutura" is an installation by the company Roca, designed by the architect Benedetta Tagliabue.  
   
In the "Chiesa Cristiana Protestante" church there is another installation of light sculptures where you will discover products by the firms Estiluz and Coordonné and the Mut Design studio. And once again this year you can visit the "Inspired Barcelona" exhibition, this year designed by Guillermo Santomá and featuring design pieces by seven lighting companies. Moreover, you will find pieces by Spanish designers in the well-known Rossana Orlandi Gallery, and companies such as Andreu World, Marset, BD Barcelona, Sancal, Arkoslight, Porcelanosa, Cosentino and Finsa will be showcasing their latest collections in their showrooms or in other spaces at Fuori Salone.
