Capdell's seating collections are comfortable and functional. And that's what many of the shipping companies are demanding as they try to reinvent the ferry travel experience.
One of them is the company Brittany Ferries, which with the help of architect Richard Nilsson, American artist Kimberly Poppe and the Dutch duo Klunderbie, tries to convey emotions to passengers. With the new ferry "Galicia," recently incorporated to its fleet, it is immersed in a new and elegant design where photographs are displayed showing the essence of Galician culture and the grandeur of its traditions and landscapes.
And to highlight this attractive design, the shared areas and cabins have been dressed up with the warm collections of the Capdell brand. The seats: Moon by Gabriel Teixidó, Concord and Plum by Claesson Koivisto Rune and Aro by Carlos Tiscar. contribute to create a unique and elegant interior design that embellishes the different art pieces in these spaces.
Another international shipping company, Stena Line, has also chosen Capdell design furniture for its ferries "Stena Estrid" which runs routes from Holyhead to Dublin Port and "Stena Edda" which runs routes from Liverpool to Belfast. This shipping company focuses onpassenger service and promoting more sustainable shipping, values that are also shared by the Spanish brand Capdell.
For the renovation of the interiors of these two ships, the shipping company looked for furniture pieces that would provide well-being to the passengers, regardless of the space they occupy. For this, they chose the Concord collection, a comprehensive set of chairs, armchairs and stools with a very interesting and flexible construction system that provides a perfect blend of design and comfort.
Plum armchairs, the Aro and the Moon chairs have also been selected for the shared areas. These sets, together with the Concord, follow the same design line creating a consistent style in all the spaces of the ship. In addition, they are highly customizable, ensuring comfort throughout the entire journey.
